Assay.Works mission is to accelerate their partner’s research programs by developing and executing predictive and scalable assays to quantify the bioactivity of novel chemical and biological entities. They combine scientific rigor with their domain expertise in laboratory automation, informatics, and industry best practices to turn challenging assays into quantitative, reproducible results.
As a contract research organization (CRO), this startup provides research services to pharmaceutical/biotech companies and academic organizations in the form of fee-for-service work.
Assay.Works builds on the legacy of the HTS Center of a leading biopharmaceutical company where they provided assay, screening, and quantitative biology services for drug discovery programs across therapeutic areas with high medical need. During their 16-year tenure, they developed and implemented more than 250 screens spanning all major drug target classes, and generated over 100,000,000 data sets.
Assay.Works resides in the BioPark Regensburg, the second largest Biotech cluster of Bavaria next to the University of Regensburg and the University of Applied Sciences (OTH) campus.
